MiniWhales

Information Architecture, UX, Figma Prototypes

Overview

As the sole product designer at Futuretech, I spearheaded the creation of MiniWhales, an ambitious blockchain-based education platform. Our vision was to revolutionize learning by combining blockchain technology, gamification, and token rewards. Here’s how we turned this idea into a tangible reality:

Blockchain-Powered Learning: MiniWhales leveraged blockchain to enhance transparency, security, and trust in educational transactions. Students could earn tokens as they learned, creating a dynamic incentive system.

Gamification: We gamified the learning experience, turning lessons into engaging challenges. Students earned tokens for completing modules, achieving milestones, and collaborating with peers.

Token Economy: These earned tokens held real-world value, providing an additional incentive for active participation.
Collaboration and Iteration

Collaboration with CTO and Entrepreneur:
I worked closely with the CTO and the visionary entrepreneur who conceived MiniWhales. Our meetings were intense brainstorming sessions where we aligned technical feasibility with aesthetic aspirations.

Technical and Aesthetic Requirements: We meticulously defined the platform’s technical architecture and aesthetic guidelines. Balancing blockchain intricacies with user-friendly design was our constant challenge.

Design Process

User Flows and Wireframes: I mapped out user journeys, ensuring seamless navigation. Wireframes laid the groundwork for the platform’s structure.

Visual Branding:
I created a basic brand identity, including a logo that encapsulated MiniWhales’ spirit—innovative, dynamic, and forward-thinking.

High-Definition Figma Prototype: The pièce de résistance was the high-fidelity Figma prototype. It showcased the functioning application, from login screens to token rewards.
